Postcard Katowice / Kattowitz Baugewerkschule MUSIC ACADEMY 1918
The postcard shows the building, which was originally built in 1899-1901 for the needs of the Building Crafts School (Baugewerkschule). Currently, the building houses the Academy of Music. Karol Szymanowski in Katowice, the oldest Polish university in Silesia. The building is characterized by Marchian Gothic architecture, with facades lined with clinker bricks. It is located at 33 Wojewódzka Street in Katowice. The exhibition of the Silesian Organ Museum is located in the basement of the main building. Original old pre-war postcard.
